ANTM vs MMAS

Some of you will be aware of America's Next Top Model or Make Me A Supermodel. For those of you who dont they're the modelling version of Pop/American ect.. Idol (depending on which country your in, though Pop was the original).

Im usually not into these kind of shows, but this year was the third series of ANTM and it was really good, my whole family got into it, our favourite actually won "Go Eva". Tonights episode (10pm on Living t.v reapeated at 1pm on Living+. ) will show what the ladies are doing after the contest.

The reason im writing this is because here in blighty they came up with MMAS, which (as i predicted) was bland in comparison, and not (in my opinion) a good contender to ANTM.
Why is it when we do something over here in England its never quite as good or exciting as how they do it in the states? (except for Coupling and other comedy shows).
Come on people we have to step it up. Yes you can produce good films and t.v shows but not when you try to copy the U.S. Your only redeeming features are your soaps (there's are too unrealistic) and comedies (there's rely too much on one liners).

Please Mr. T.V producer man, get to work.
